Somewhere between Nairobi, Kenya and Zurich, Switzerland a SwissAir jet is flying. On the board is Clare, a 31 year old Kenyan beauty who is the love of my life. My visit to Kenya a year to the day after we met merely confirmed what we knew a year of daily communication on skype…we wanted spent the rest of our lives TOGETHER! The question was HOW? The ANSWER was ASHLEY DWORSKY!
Ashley is a lawyer of finest kind. He has a disarming South African accent, and a frankness and clearness of speech that make him real, approachable, and understandable. He recommended I apply for K-1 Fiancee his for Clare. “Wouldn’t we stand a better chance of getting her here if we were married over there?”, I asked. He strongly disagreed citing his considerable experience with such matters and articulating clear reason why K-1 visa should be pursued instead.
He clearly outlined things that should be done and documentation that should be compiled while in Kenya that would aid the application process upon my return. After returning from Kenya (still single), I met regularly with Ashley for direction through the application process. The process is complicated, but Ashley guaranteed success. His work was good!
The process requires patience and attention to detail. I found my self repeatedly needing help a I gathered and organized needed documentation. Ashley (or his dedicated staff) answered and/or returned every call, met me WHENEVER I felt the need to meet, and showed SUPERHUMAN calm and patience with repeated requests. Ashley knows the system. He knows how to tactfully nudge it when necessary into action for his clients.
I would have needed to won the lotto if he had charged me by the hour! His clients call him by his first name. He is a friend to his clients, he really CARES! It is now 1:07 am cst the morning of Tuesday, November 12. Clare has just skyped me! What an incredible coincidence! She has landed Zurich and in a few hours will be boarding for final leg of her journey. At about 4:00 pm today, she will land in Chicago …where we will be married. It will be the happiest day of my life…
Thank you, Ashley.
